| Job Title: Managing Director – Renewable energy development |

Managing Director - Renewable energy development-Poland.
Our client is one of the world's leading energy project developers. They're developing and maintaining an energy portfolio in all of the renewable energy sectors in over 20 countries.
Due to this continued success they are looking for an MD to take charge of their Polish operation (+ realization of other eastern European countries) and successfully contribute to its market position & profitability as an independent sustainable power producer.
Duties will include:
- Manage the polish operation and synchronize this with the clients overall strategy and thinking.
- Manage acquisitions and maintain & develop networks with project stakeholders, investors, partners and landlords to create opportunities for valuable projects.
- Realize sales and draw up a comprehensive business plan to achieve objectives and to improve and maintain the company's results.
- Initiate and generate business and identifies opportunities for business and projects by initiating and maintaining a network and presenting investment proposals.
- Report and update regularly on business development and financial performance to the International Renewables manager.
- Hold meetings and develop knowledge transfer within the business and stay up-to-date with developments in the market in general.
Your profile:
- University degree in natural sciences, engineering or equivalent subject 5-10 years of professional experience in project development and investments preferably in renewable energy or real estate related background. Demonstrative track record in development and execution of a strategies in building successful business relationships and successfully delivered projects
- Strong management capabilities and experience
- Fluency in Polish and English ( oral and written)
- Team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop talents and growth of staff members.
- Ability to think strategically and to manage changes in the business environment.
- Strong commercial and entrepreneurial attitude.
- Experience within the Polish and Eastern Europe market is not essential but will be a distinct advantage.
