Natural Power is a leading international provider of technical and management services to the renewable energy sector.

 

We are looking for a Senior Ecologist to provide maternity cover in a management role within a small ecology team. You will project manage the ecology work on a number of wind farm sites, provide ecology support to the company and undertake business development within the ecology department.

 

You will have experience with Phase 1 and NVC habitat surveys, mammal surveys, protected species surveys, and bird survey techniques. You will have a proven track record in the delivery of a range of ecological assessments.

 

You must have a relevant degree or equivalent in an environmental or ecological discipline and sound knowledge in the ecology and identification of a wide range of British fauna and flora. Full membership of IEEM is essential and knowledge of conservation legislation and best practice guidance in relation to wind farm development within the UK.
