Operations Field Technician
Job Location: Wilburton, OK
The purpose of the Operations Field Technician is to safely ensure the maximum production from natural gas wells.
Weekend and holiday work rotation is required within the team. Some off-site travel may be required.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Operations Field Technician, applicants must have:
Legal authorization to work in the USA on a full-time basis for anyone one other than current employer
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to travel for at least 10%of the role
- A valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Must be able to perform work safely while complying with all HSE Policies and Procedures. Focus will be on BP's eight Golden rules of Safety with a full understanding and compliance of BP's Safety Standards Enhanced technical skills, desire and aptitude for working with computers, automation, measurement and mechanical equipment and components
- Ability to communicate with cross functional work teams
- Competence in teamwork skills and working with various well site and facility flow process equipment and components
- Well-developed critical thinking capabilities
