Our client is a leading mining consultancy, providing services exclusively to the minerals sector. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Mining Engineer.

 

Located just a 40 minutes train journey from Paddington, reporting to the UK Regional Manager, the Senior Mining Engineer will be responsible for the overall project management of feasibility studies including identifying appropriate mining methods and modelled resources. In addition the role involves conducting diligence reviews of mining operations and well as cost estimation, planning and scheduling for both green and brownfield mining projects around the world.

 

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in mining or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of sound mine design and operations experience in a variety of environments and situations. Sound experience with computer aided surface and/or underground mine design software is considered essential.
