| Job Title: Electrical CAD Technician - Renewable Energy |

Job description
- The preparation of 2D and drawings in support of engineers and surveyors.
- Prepare drawings as programme/workload demands.
- Manage the reasonable provision of a hard copy printing service for others on request.
- Carry out measured surveys as necessary.
- Establish and maintain quality systems and procedures.
- Manage the protection of all drawings, including the safekeeping of back-ups etc.
- Responsible for drawing issues and maintaining drawing control registers for projects.
- Able to develop schematic layout and cable sizing under supervision of senior electrical engineers.
Your qualifications and experience
- Basic awareness of electrical building services design.
- IT skills - use of Access, Word, Excel packages.
- CAD skills – use of AutoCad essential, Hevacomp or AMTECH would be beneficial.
- Ability to work as member of team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in building services design or co-ordination.
- Reasonable knowledge of latest CAD software and hardware requirements and developments.
- ONC electrical engineering (would be beneficial)
