| Job Title: Energy Manager |
| Description |
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Energy & Sustainability Group. My client is seeking a highly motivated individual with a good knowledge of the energy issues related to buildings and experience in energy management & procurement. Based in the London office, the team deals specifically with blue chip corporate clients & property investors.
The successful candidate will work day to day with the Head of the Energy & Environment Group and with the Facilities Management division (including the Engineering & Operations Director), in a growing and dynamic team. With a client base that is becoming increasingly aware that being green is an important business consideration, the team works with them to ensure that their property portfolio strategies are aligned with their internal sustainability goals.
The role is client facing and focused on practicality, encompassing energy management for the businesses and individual properties, advising on and implementing clients' energy and utility programs whilst having regard for the wider requirements of the organisations. The role will also require utility procurement and the ability to drive down utility costs and reduce carbon emissions. The role will involve working closely with clients, with the aim of providing education and insight in areas around energy management & utility usage.
The candidate will be expected to keep abreast of the global climate change agenda and be expected to remain aware of new developments within the industry such as new technologies, approaches to carbon reduction and energy consumption. |
