A world leader in Nuclear projects with a £multi-million programme is currently seeking a new team of PLC Engineers PES (programmable electronic systems) and Control systems Engineers

 

As part of this exciting programme you will be involved in the Control Systems Team on the plant project to support develop and maintain the software hardware and documentation associated with the existing Oracle Database function of the control system You will supplement the existing plant support and software development team

 

As part of this position you will produce design change packs/specifications to support plant throughput improvements identified on the Oracle 9i system Modify/develop the existing software to incorporate the requirements of any design change packs /specifications authorised for implementation Modify/develop the Oracle AS 10g Forms and Reports in line with any changes highlighted in the design packs/specifications

 

You will provide technical support and assistance to the plant regarding control system issues and provision of the limited support to Factorylink 7 1 SCADA/Windows 2003 Server applications

 

To be part of these exciting times with this organisation you will require demonstrable experience of having worked with Oracle Databases and/or Oracle Application Server 10g Forms and Reports software in a design/development environment Knowledge of software development and ideally control systems Knowledge of Windows 2003 Server and/or Factorylink 7 1 would also be advantageous
