Job Title: Senior Process Engineer (f/m) for Energy and CO2 - Vienna
Description
The Refining & Marketing business area is responsible for the processing and refining of crude oil and the marketing of the fuels and lubricants obtained in this way via a dense network of filling stations and dealers in the entire Danube region. We want to expand our team in Vienna with a:
 
Senior Process Engineer (f/m) for Energy and CO2
 
Your responsibilities:
  • Developing consistent performance-and behaviour standards to establish an overall optimum of all refineries with a focus on “Energy and CO2”
  • Implementing of an overall operational philosophy
  • Managing of expert networks in order to evaluate and introduce Best Practice
  • Ensuring know-how transfer between the refineries to reduce energy losses
  • Establishing an energy monitoring system in cooperation with the site operations
  • Designing and performing of an “in house” fuels/losses audit program for all OMV refineries
  • Supporting OMV´s strategy to reduce CO2 emissions and costs
 
Your profile:
  • Relevant university degree (process engineering/mechanical engineering)
  • 3 to 5 years of appropriate experience in the process optimization (e.g. in the chemical or energy sector or in a refinery)
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Advanced MS-Office skills
  • Communicative personality and strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel: approximately 2 times per months
