Process Engineer
To carry out gas processing design work in a specialist process engineering group. Reporting to the Chief Process Engineer, typical duties include: process route development and simulation; preparation of process flow diagrams, heat and material balances, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment schedules, process equipment data sheets; line sizing; relief valve sizing; review of vendor proposals; participation in design reviews; assistance with plant layout development.
Applicants will be expected to have a good grounding in chemical engineering from an IChemE accredited university with at least a 2.1 classification honours degree. They will be expected to have a good knowledge of fluid flow, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, as well as unit operations applied to the gas industry. We would expect a minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar commercial environment.

Our worldwide projects create many opportunities for travel to overseas locations. The Manchester office is an innovative and dynamic environment offering professional training/instruction in conceptual and detailed process design and providing a high de-gree of responsibility early in an engineer's career.
