Design Engineer

Responsibilities:
Performing strength analyses on precast concrete towers and foundations for different turbine types and heights, analytically as well with Finite Element Method
Making practical and competitive design proposals and sketches
Preparing design documents for the certification
Performing analyses for optimisation investigations, achieving improvements for the production and installation process
This is a role for a talented Engineer utilising his skills in the design, engineering complicated, heavy loaded (precast) concrete constructions, using advanced calculation methods such as 3D FEM calculations with volume models, non-linear material behaviour, dynamic loading etc
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil Engineering
Well-experienced with 3D CAD and FEM programs
Well-experienced with strength analyses of concrete constructions according to building codes and certification guidelines
Working experience in a technical position in the wind energy or civil industry
Creative mindset with eye for both depth and commerce
Team player
Pragmatic and solution-oriented
Excellent expression skills, in English , both verbally and in writing. German also but is not essential
