The principal duties of a Wind Turbine Technician are to carry scheduled and unscheduled turbine maintenance; with adherence to site safety, quality process and environmental management. Training will be given as required. This position is designed to meet their client requirements for a flexible team that can work at any of their client’s wind farms to support operational needs.

Candidates must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering and have experience in either/all of the electrical/mechanical/hydraulic industrial engineering disciplines. For this position a full driving licence is essential as is a good degree of physical fitness because the wind farms are in relatively remote locations and candidates applying for this role must be confident to work periodically at height and occasionally in adverse weather conditions. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft office and word.
