Senior Offshore Structural Engineer - HDE875
The successful applicant will be seconded within a national operator and will be working on a PMC basis.
The project involves the construction of 2 offshore platforms so will include Topsides and Jackets as well as modifications to existing structures.
Required skills and experience as follows: -
- Degree Qualified Structural Engineer
- Min 15 years experience in Offshore Structural Design
- Experience within PMC role (rather than FEED contractor) - ESSENTIAL
- Experience with SACS - ESSENTIAL
- Ideally in supervisory role with ability to direct FEED contractor.
- The candidate will be running the job, supervising the FEED contractor - This will involve making sure that the FEED contractor is working to requirements, specifications, timeframes and budgets as set out by Client. They will then be responsible for overal approval on designs.
- Middle East experience would be an advantage.
- Contract will last for up to 22 months. Poss some international travel depending on where FEED contractor is.
- Good Dollar rates plus accom, car, flights (3 x economy) etc. There will be uplift for any international travel (could be Europe, Singapore, Houston).
