| Job Title: Conservation Scientist (Windfarms) - Scotland |

Based in North Scotland, you will conduct research on the impacts of wind farms on birds. This 12 month contract, will include running a study in Scotland to examine the impact of wind farm development upon golden plovers. You will manage a team of field staff, in addition to conducting upland bird surveys, ringing and radio-tracking. Part of the role will be to analyse data and produce reports, and contribute to other related projects.
You will be an experienced ornithologist, preferably with a doctorate or equivalent, with a good knowledge of survey design, field-techniques and statistical experience. The holding of a ringing-permit and experience of radio-tracking will be an advantage. |
