The Crown Estate, valued at over £6 billion, manages a wide range of land and property across the United Kingdom. Every year we pay all of our surplus revenue to Treasury for the benefit of all UK taxpayers. The Marine Estate includes over 55% of the UK’s foreshore, the beds of tidal rivers and estuaries and almost all of the seabed out to the 12-nautical-mile territorial limit around the UK.
